About Us

Meteor Homes is a local estate agent, staffed by local people for local people.

It is a common misconception that Estate Agency is a sales job, whereas we believe it is all about building relationships with both buyers and sellers alike. That is why the team has their own list of buyers and vendors that they are in contact with from the very beginning to the very end. Vendors will also have the mobile number and email address of the person who marketed the property, usually our Head of Sales, to answer any of your additional queries.

The world of Estate Agency is a rapidly changing one with more and more Estate Agents coming away from the High Street model. This can be attributed to a number of reasons, such as the death of the High Street, the increasing reliance on technology and even the pandemic! Whatever the reason, the truth is that very few buyers visit Estate Agency offices to do their browsing, it is all done online with communication being by phone or email. That being said, we do have an office in Central Grimsby, that buyers and sellers are able to visit, without an appointment if they want a face to face chat with the team. Not having a High Street office cuts down on the increasing overheads and means we can keep our fees down for you, our valued customers.

The team is headed up by Dan Holland, our Head of Sales, he has been in the industry since 1998 and thus sees the undoubted benefits that traditional Estate Agency brings and as a result we still operate a dedicated mailing list that helps buyers buy and sellers sell, as the human brain is still better than an online portal when it comes to searching houses. Whilst we are very traditional in our approach we also embrace technology and use it to its advantage, Social Media and Videography are a big part of the business now and are part of the service we offer.

Meet The Team

Dan Holland – Head of Sales

Dan is a born and bred Grimbarian with strong roots in the local community. Having been a committee member on the Artie White Foundation before it folded in 2020, manager of several football teams both adult and junior, and is currently Head of Operations for Grimsby Borough FC who are a semi professional local club currently playing at Step 4 in the Northern Premier League East.

Dan has worked in Estate Agency since 1998 with the vast majority of that being in North East Lincolnshire with some forays into Louth and Lincoln, he knows the industry and market inside out.

He is the proud father of two teenage boys. Away from work and football, he enjoys meals out and weekends away with his amazing partner, Lisa.

Stuart Andrews - Sales Negotiator

Stuart is the newest member of the team and is taking his first steps in Estate Agency. Stuart was employed for his excellent relationship building that has been portrayed over the years in his roles in Hospitality and as a result is extremely well known across the town.

Stuart is a self confessed family man and likes nothing more than spending time at home with loved ones, when he takes time for himself he can be found watching his favourite team Liverpool FC on the TV as well as other lesser teams!

Stuart is relishing his new role and looks forward to a long career and meeting lots of new people.

Michelle Jastak - Sales Negotiator

Michelle joined the team in the Spring of 2025 and has quickly developed into a key member of the team. Michelle has an excellent rapport with all her clients, is very understanding and patient. All of these skills she brought with her from a number of years in the care industry.

Michelle has adapted to Estate Agency extremely well and given the right knowledge will only enhance these skills. Away from the office, Michelle is often on the touchline with her husband watching her youngest son play football.

Michelle also enjoys swimming and going on long walks.

Faye Bale - Personal Assistant/Sales Negotiator

Faye joined the Meteor Homes team in September 2023, as a Personal Assistant since June 2025, it was noticed that Faye had more to offer the team, so whilst retaining her role as Personal Assistant she is now dealing with sales and expanding her skill set.

Faye boasts excellent customer service skills, mainly thanks to her 16 years in the retail industry and has transferred these skills to her current role. Away from work Faye is a football Mum with all weekends taken up supporting her two favourite players play in their junior teams along with her husband Alex.

If as a working Mum there is any spare time, Faye enjoys reading and walking her dog Bruno on the beach.

Most agents will not offer you different ways to sell a property and if they do, they will charge additional fees for additional services. We are different, we will only charge you one set fee, and you will only pay our fee on completion of your home
